
Emily Chang
Founder and Editor-in-Chief
Emily is a rising senior at Interlake High School in Bellevue, Washington, and has run varsity XC/TF throughout high school. In her free time, Emily enjoys writing, whether it be poetry, short fiction, or informational articles. As a foodie and fitness enthusiast, she also likes experimenting in the kitchen and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Right now, she misses her teammates and friends but is trying her best to keep busy in quarantine. She hopes SEA will help athletes stay motivated, encourage a supportive, welcoming athletic community, and raise awareness about how athletes are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Audrey Kim
Founder and Social Media Manager
Audrey Kim is currently a sophomore at Roosevelt High School located in Seattle, Washington. She has been doing ballet for several years with Pacific Northwest Ballet and Arc School of Ballet. Through SEA, she hopes athletes will continue to exceed goals while exploring other passions. By posting stories, challenges recipes, and tips SEA will create a welcoming and encouraging environment.

Renee Ruan
Founder and Tech. Manager
Renee is a rising senior at Interlake High School, where she runs cross country and completes the IB program. She has a passion for fitness, outdoor exploration, and finding new challenges. Renee hopes that through SEA, youth readers will be inspired to pursue their passions and reach new heights. She wants to share her love of fitness and the outdoors with readers, in hopes that even a small number will be infected. Renee is excited for what SEA has in store in the future!

Hannah Chen
Founder and Program Manager
Hannah is a rising senior at Interlake High School in Bellevue, Washington where she is a 2020 candidate of the IB program. With over a decade of training in badminton, Hannah has held the top 20th ranking in U17 girls doubles and the top 30th ranking in U17 mixed doubles nationally in 2019. She has also held both Varsity 1 positions for singles and doubles in her school club in the years 2018-2020. She hopes that SEA can nurture connections between athletes across sports and encourage us to try new experiences while still building upon our own passions!
